Has there ever been a time, presumably more than once, when Kirby had a backlog of one model year's vacuums that were unsold to its dealers for more than six months from the start of any given model year?
Both the Classic Omega 1-CB (1973-76) and the Tradition 3-CB (1979-81) appear to be examples of Kirbys in which production backlogged and didn't reach dealers for about 3-6 months from the time of that model year's production start.
