Kirby Mini Emptors

Can anybody tell me the difference between all of the g series and sentria mini Emptors? I noticed they were changed with the g six and again with the sentria II. Are the g six and up just a pipe with no place for large heavy debris to go? Like just a straight shot into the fill tube or do they have a tube at the beginning of the emptor and the round part the bag sits over and straps around is the catch all? I'm partly curious and partly wanting to upgrade to a gsix style emptor on my g5 depending on the style. If its no different then there is no need for me to upgrade.

new redesigned ones allow for better air flow which = better pick up .

Dan is right.The 'straight shot'is better.--How far east in TN are you?I am next to Johnson City.I have many heritage era parts and quite a few Generation.I have at least 3 Concepts and I think there is a Powermax version(mostly good with worn bristles).Does green sound right for the PMax?May have extra DS.The Concepts & Powermax,if still here,need new homes!How about yours??,Jimmy-423-297-6918

I just need an attachment set and shampooer to match my g5 and ill be happy. I just can't pay the price everyone wants for those parts. I sold all my other vacuums on eBay because I didn't have the room nor the need for them anymore. Do you happen to have a new style mini emptor for the g5? Can someone post pictures of the inside differences of the two? This has me extremely curious.

The Kirby Generation 3/G4/G5 Mini Emtors are flat. The Kirby Gsix/Ultimate G/Diamond Edition/Sentria/Sentria II Mini Emtors are dome shaped. The later Mini Emtors give better airflow/suction than the earlier Mini Emtors.
