So, found a Kirby Legend 2 for sale. I don't need another Kirby. I have a G7 ultimate diamond, a dual santronic 50, and a Sentria 2.
Is this a sign of a sickness, when I start thinking, you know, I am keeping a kirby box, I could clean, polish, and do maintenance on it, then store it the empty kirby box....

The :Legend II is a great machine. Essentially a cosmetic refresh of the Heritage II Legend, they're both model 2HD, it's the last of the pre-G Kirbys, and a bit less bulky without the later machines' Tech Drive. Clean it, polish it, and treasure it as you think best.

It sounds like you have a nice variety of Kirbys. The G7 Diamond is a favorite among many collectors because of its unique speed selector switch. Yeah, collecting anything can become something akin to an addiction, What am I talking about? It IS an addiction. That's why I make jokes about 'Vacuholics Anonymous' and falling off the proverbial wagon whenever I acquire another machine. It is indeed easy to let things get out of control. It's healthy to exercise some restraint.

Well, one of my old addictions was chess. Bought a ton of books, DVDs, and computer programs. Plus took lessons for awhile from a international master.
As for the legend 2, I have been wanting to try it. A lot of kirby fans prefer the heritage 2. Certainly from a for use vacuum, a nice addition to a collection.
Thank you for the comments

what I currently have is the heritage legend 2 and its been a workhorse for over 15 years ive owned it, ceiling made of plaster fell into the old house, the HL2 gobbled it all up without issue ive had to recently change the fan out as the old one blew up, but ive also modified my house connector so the vacuum always runs in low RPM mode to put less stress on the fan, so it runs more like a 500 series in hose mode but will still run normally electrically as it was just an old hose end I modified
