Gary.. 21st & portland.. thats the one I mentioned earlier! He is SOO nice.. do you know why his business has slowed and why his shop has pretty much emptied out?

It's really a shame that most Kirby dealers aren't more helpful to collectors like us. About a year and a half ago, I brought my Kirby GSix (which I had just bought at a flea market) to the same Kirby dealer who sold me my gold plated Tradition some time earlier. She told me they don't even buff the machines anymore because it's too labor intensive! It seems every time I go there, she has less and less Kirbys for sale or on display. Now, the front window is filled with Dirt Devils, Hoovers, Eurekas, and I even saw an Amway ClearTrak. A sign of the times....
