Now starting in the foreground, first in our all star lineup is the (1919) vacuette, then the (1921) vacuette special, and the rest as follows : Kirby's (1925) vacuette elec. , the early model C (1935) and the 1-C (1935-37),  Kirby (1948) 508, the Kirby (1952) 512,  the 516 (1956), and the D-80 (1967-70).

Kirby collection...

Calem

That is certainly a collection to be proud of! They look fantastic! Congrats! I love how you have them chronologically ordered.

Model 1C

I bought a Kirby Model 1C for $1 at a flea market, it was just sitting in the corner and I made an offer knowing nothing about it. The only major problem I have found with it is that the Black disk that is inserted in the front (so you can access the belt) is warped. Do these pieces have a name? Can they still be bought? any suggestions on how to polish these machines?

Thanks Kirbybag!

You wouldn't have a photo of your Kirby 514, if so, I sure would like to see it. Thanks again, Calem!
