Kirby Heritage II Cable Support Bracket colour?

Hi Everyone,
I'm refurbishing a Kirby Heritage II and the Upper Cable Support Bracket appears to have been replaced.
Were these Black, to match the Trim?
Or Red, to match the accent highlight reds?

I've scoured every online photo I can find, but cannot see the top cable-support bracket in the pictures.

I think it's black to match rest of the plastics on the handle but I've been wrong before.

You have to wonder what some of these machines suffered.
Cracked aluminium handle too. Dropped down stairs perhaps?

This confirms the Maroon/Red Bracket was a replacement.

u can still get black replacements just check on ebay seller Kirby needs he pretty much has everything.
