does anyone happen to know the type number used in the brushroll bearings on the Kirby heritage out of 3 rollers i own only 1 bearing had any writing on it and it was super hard to read but i though it said 687-2rs ordered one of those though and the outer diameter is smaller.

Aaron,

Assuming that you have a Heritage II with the BPI light on your nozzle casting, the brush roll you want for your machine would be part no. 152584. The replacement brush rolls have ball bearings, which are much better than the original sleeve bearing versions.

The bearing company or bust open your bearing use a caliper and you have your answer.
I don't think anyone has the answer we just buy the bearings we don't get the specs.

Hmm

Go to web site that sales the bearings type in the part number and look up specs.
A little bit of do things yourself and not rely on others is helpful.
 
Maybe

If you find a seller or MFG of bearing(use the number Ben gave you) you could use part number and seller or MFG site may have specs.
