So guys, does this sucker come in more than one size rug nozzle? mine is almost 16" and I thought my last one was smaller!

Yes, all Kirbys from the Heritage I through the Legend II gave you a choice of either the standard 16" wide nozzle or the compact 13" wide nozzle. Besides that, you could also choose between the new-style disposable bag system (first introduced on the Tradition) and the old-style shake-out (reusable) bag system.

Both the 13" nozzle and shake-out bag system options were rare for the Heritage period vacuums produced from 1983-90.

Nice, its been like 15 years since I last used my old one, but it seemed smaller. I may have to keep my eyes open for the smaller unit. Thanks.
