on ebay, a rare kirby hair dryer attachment called the nu way. did not they existed but there it was. great for vintage women i guess. that would be a loud hair dryer. LOL

Kirby never made a hair dryer attachment. Like the Preco power brush, there were many 'fit all' attachments, including a Hair Dryer. In reality, it was the bonnet and a hose. As long as your vacuum had a blower outlet, you were good to go. Wouldn't ever want to use a Kirby (with its dirty air fan) for drying hair though.

well for one you take the hose off & use the intake section only so no dirt, & the bonnet has a filter in it. i believe it has sold already. it was called nu way.

I found the expired, no-bid listing at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NuWay-Vinta...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

For future reference here is the description and the only photo posted: It, indeed, must have been a generic item made by another company as the Kirby logo isn't used on the flyer, nor is there a drawing or photo illustrating a Kirby vacuum cleaner being used with the hair dryer or any written instructions.

Hmmm . . .

Too bad these are so rare, it'd be totally cool to have a contest to see what could dry a big 'ol bouffant hairdo faster, this or a Filter Queen bonnet.
