I bought a Kirby G4 for $30 at savers. This is my first tech drive Kirby. I took it apart and cleaned everything. Putting it back together was a pain in the @$$! There are so many screws. I'm used to doing maintenance on my Heritage II. All it needs now it a good buffing. The metal is tarnished pretty bad.

I sealed the fan housing of mom and dad's Heritage II with 100% clear silicone caulking @ 15 years ago, it was still good when I tore it apart again in the fall of last year. A new tube ran me @ $4-5 at the hardware store.
