I got this photo out of a 561 mode owners manual and wondered if any of you Kirbybowners use the dusting pad attachment to the hard floor nozzle? I hadn’t thought of doing this before. In another forum post here I showed a photo of that dusting attachment to the power nozzle on my 516 and it worked great, but , as others have mentioned, you may not be able to clean under counters ( floor) w/the whole Kirby head, so this photo shows how to overcome that.

Any of you use these attachments this way? ( yes I’m aware it’s more ‘hassle’). ;-)

I found the felt pad just pushed the dust around and the dust would stick to it. Therefore I have never used it (I have vinyl and tile for hard floors.)
One could 'super-dust' their floors with the felt pad after having vacuumed without it, but that is a bit excessive.
I believe it was more for buffing waxed wood floors, or as mentioned above, protecting varnished floors. Floors like that seemed to have almost vanished these days..

they used the same felt pads on filter Queens Kirby's and quite a few vacuums back in the day they're mostly useless. As stated above they push stuff around. but a nice novelty to have to complete a collection.
