I vacuum the cat
Would love to vacuum the dog, but she runs. Cat on the other hand loves the vacuum, lays on it while running, won't move out of the way you have to push him to get around. Dog disappears as soon as she sees a vacuum.

The corgi in the second video seemed to be a little more enthusiastic about it than the spaniel in the first one. Judging from the position of Freckles' tail, she wasn't really enjoying being vacuumed all that much, but was cooperating out of a sense of canine loyalty and obedience.
I'd love it if my cat would let me vacuum her, especially when she's shedding in the spring and summer, but I've never been able to even try it; she barely tolerates being brushed. She runs and hides whenever she sees me get the vacuum out, but once I get it going, she will often creep back into the room and maintain a discrete distance, just to see what's going on. The cat I had before her wouldn't even do that. She would stay hidden for a couple of hours after the vacuum had been turned off and put away, just to make sure.

My dog was hesitant at first but seemed to enjoy it once he got used to it and knew it wouldn't hurt him.
I agree that Freckles didn't seem as comfortable with being vacuumed as Corbs. I wonder if it was the roar of the Kirby that made the difference?
I wonder if running the massager on the hesitant dog and cat with the vacuum cleaner turned off would get them used to the touch of the vacuum cleaner attachment then trying it with the cleaner turned on? Another thought would be having them watch you turn on the cleaner and vacuum your arms and legs. Treats can also be a motivator for changing pets' behaviors.
