Kirby DS 50

I'm brand new to this group but just pulled my but pulled out my dual sanitronic from storage which was a birthday gift 15 years ago..still running strong! I've really been wanting to get at least some of the attachments for it..plus a repair man at some point took the headlight assembly off. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hey Zack, welcome to the forum! The DS 50 is a great machine. The headlight cap can be reinstalled easily with the right hinge pin. A good vacuum repair person can order the pin and install it. Take good care of it. The DS 50 headlight cap is unique among the 500 series models, since it's the only one that has the oval glass emblem in it. Those are no longer made by Kirby. The other thing I would encourage you to do is find an original Sani-Emtor and install it with a Kirby shakeout bag.
