Took a while for USPS to get it to me I guess because of COVID and Memorial Day but waiting for me on the porch when I got home from disc golf was the newest member of the family. Lurking in the background are a couple of friends waiting to say “Hi”. All I need now is the gold bag with Kirby Classic Ω patch which I’m having trouble finding. If anyone can help I’d greatly appreciate it.

Nothing is wrong with the bag that's on it now. It's all tied up in memories from when I was a kid and what I associate with a "Kirby vacuum cleaner" for some reason. That particular model, that particular bag. I've not had any luck locating one except for the one that is 500 miles away for local pick up only. Ideally I'd like to have an example of each of the three bags originally on the Omega.

Here's mine it need a polish but it's still presentable. This one has the short cord on it I think I have a longer one somewhere but it's all original w/attachments. I got it at an estate sale for a whopping $2.00 no tax.

Justin,

The very first bag used on the Classic Omega, when production began in the summer of 1973, was similar to the one used on the prior Kirby Classic 1CR, a solid gold KGF-40 bag, but with the patch identifying the cleaner as a Classic Omega.

Umm

If you get a USPS flat rate shipping envelope. The shipping would be $8-9.50.
Someone did sell the patches. I had 4 patches 2 omega 2 classic. I now have one classic and one omega for my machines.
The patches can be reproduced I'm not sure on the dollar amount but it can be done.
