I'm not a fan of red or or the classic 3. I can admire a beautiful job of polishing. This looks great.

well done! Red isn't my color either....but I have several of these b/c they just look so good.....and NOT the so common grays and blacks.

Kyle, great job restoring your Classic III - looks stunning! Whoever buys it from you will be getting their money's worth and then some. Like some others here, I am not necessarily a fan of the red colour used on the Classic III....I much prefer the brown Classic/Classic Omega and deep blue colour of the Tradition....but it does look good with all that shiny chrome .

color preferences are so interesting...in that we all have diverse opinions on them. I dislike the brown models, for example....am not traditionally a 'red' fan but love the Classic III in red....behind the blue of the Tradition of course. Glad there is one for all of us it seems ( black, red, blue, green, tan, grey etc)

I really like the Classic III's red trim, especially the red 'tartan' bag. Looks like it should have a bagpipe accessory with a drone and chanters. Of course, for practical reasons, I retrofitted my Classic III with a Legend II bag assembly so it could use disposable filter bags. But although I hate dump bags with a passion, I haven't disposed of the original.

All that said, my favorite color scheme for any Kirby has to be that of the Heritage 1HD. I just love the bright orange bag against the charcoal gray.
