@vaccumdevil. how much water lift you do suppose is needed ( knowing that the Kirby has superb amount of airflow) to actually pick up dried foam crystals? you make is sound like its completely anemic and might not even be able to pick up minor particles like that?

@turbomaster1984. ( I like your screen name, clever!). one reason , beyond what the others have mentioned with delicate/natural fibers for rugs/upholstery, is that one may very well NOT want another vacuuming device that takes up room in one's closet vs a small attachment that appears to get the job done for what people are actually using it for.... mild cleaning of normal wear from use ( as opposed to deep staining from a spill)

I do like the Kirby carpet shampoo system. Although I use my Electrolux Floorpo most often. I have a very small side carpet cleaning business. I use my Floor Pro in conjunction with my Bissell power steamer. In the past I used Hoover Steamvacs however I find the Bissell more effective with its powered agitator. It does leave the carpet a little more damp than the Hoover. The regular power steamer not the pro heat version.

One scrubs. One sucks and scrubs some more. I find this system to work well.
