Kirby Avalir 2

I found a new Kirby on Facebook and was interested in it but couldn’t decide on whether I should by it and ended up getting it and I love it a lot the design in my opinion looks better than the Sentria mainly the handle and blue is my favorite color! I’ll post pictures here when it’s all done getting cleaned up at the moment all I have left is washing the bag! Also can anyone help me figure out what screws these are the latch plate in the handle is loose nothing to bad but there is play in it and I wanna tighten it up.

They're Torx screws. I would guess T15 or T20?

I think it looks very nice, I’m glad they moved away from the Grey colors in the Sentria and Ultimate G. How is the performance compared to your other Kirby’s? I see Sentrias for sale all the time around here but I rarely see Avilars. When I do they are always $$$. Just gotta keep hunting!

I think the avalir is such a cool looking machine I really like the handle design and the shampooer I just think the sentria looks boring compared to the avalir

I prefer the handle of the Sentria's over the Avalirs. I find the later are too narrow/small, interesting to hear many others' comments to the contrary.

That's a nice Avalir. I've never seen one in the flesh, much less used one. I like the overall look of the machine, although the gigantic metallic blue 'K' on the bag isn't really to my taste. I've got a Sentria that's in really nice shape and I rather like its gray and orange color scheme. There's really not a lot of difference between it and the Avalir, other than cosmetics. That said, they're both great machines.

Ive only seen one Avalir at my local vacuum store but that’s about it and this is the first avalir 2 I’ve seen around here. I think it’s definitely more a looker than the Sentria/ Sentria2, Performance as far as I can tell isn’t to big a difference between the The Ultimate G and Avalir2 other that the slight tweaks to the transmission and emtor, but compared to a G4 which was my daily for a while it’s definitely a improvement!

Difference

The g3 and g4 are very similar. G5, g6 g7 all diamond and ultras are very similar. Sentria is same platform as avalir 2. The early sentrias had the older entor.
I have a sentria and a avalir nozzle on it. I also have the avalir shampoo kit. It works perfectly fine with my sentria. But sentria, sentria 2, avalir, avalir 2 are very similar.

A Sentria is the newest that I have used, when I got mine I noticed a big difference between it and my G6. The handle makes a big difference and it feels like it has quite a bit more power. My Sentria is a updated one, I think it’s pretty much like the Sentria II expect the colors.
