Yes,it will work-but not as good as a regular saber-jig saw with its own motor.I have one of those-unused-came with the attachment kit for a Kirby Classic-years ago in Forestville-Suitland,Md at a Kirby store-they demoed it for me-the salesman said--"the only cleaning system that could be used to build a birdhouse"!!In that area-Wash DC,the salesman didn't come to your house-you came to their store.same with Electrolux.there was an Electrolux store in the same area. The tool can be used with the flexible shaft-the Kirby demo had it attached to the Kirby powerplant-a small table attached to the
jig saw
and the unit collected the dust thru the Kirby fan into the bag.oh yes, regular "Universal Tang" jigsaw blades will fit this. You can get the blades at Lowes,Home Depot,Sears,or most hardware stores that sell tools.

Have the Kirby hair shears as well-got them with a Kirby I got from the neighbors-the machine and its boxes were sitting outside on their driveway-as I walked by--thats awfully strange-went up to the door and asked about the machine-they sold it to me rright there-in one of the boxes was a apair of those air powered Kirby hairclippers-This would have been before FloBee?They work too.The hairshears have a turbine motor in them that works from the airflow of the Kirby vac-and they suck up the hairclippings as well. The unit can be easily taken apart for cleaning and oiling. The instructions with the clipper tell how to do haircuts at home and how to clean and lube the blades.

Kirby Klippers

We had quite a time with one of those infamous Kirby hair trimmers that came with the Heritage. It was at Fred Nelson's house, Tarantula Arms, last fall.

Tania received a very nice hair cut and Mark Thomas had his gams trimmed beautifully! The trimmer comes with 3 different guards for 3 different lengths and actually performed quite well.

I received the attachment set from a friend and "bequeathed" it to Fred. Now when we attached it to his central vacuum system, which is like tornado in can, those blades were flying back and forth. We could have given "Supercuts" a real run for the money! The blade is driven by suction and the clipped hair is vacuum up----very neat, indeed.

When the group saw that I had it my hot little hands, they quickly scattered. I was only offering all kinds of custom hair removal.

Oh Charlie that was such a fun evening!! That attachment really worked!! Terry
