Hi...I'm clearing out my aunt's house. She lived 102 years and kept everything. I found a wonderful old Kirby vacuum cleaner, Model 526. . I actually used it and it works great, picked up just fine, but I don't have a big house and can't really store it. I had it checked out: Cord, motor and all moving parts are in fine condition. The bag too. No tears. I've attached some photos. Depending on where the buyer is will determine shipping costs, but it's likely around $50 or more. I'm putting this up for sale in various places, but if someone from a site that loves old vacuums wants it, I'll go with that. I admit I never carefully looked at a vacuum cleaner before. Every part seems to be machined so well. It's solid as a rock, and has all the features of my "modern" one, but is built to last. I understand why people love old tools, and this was a tool for us gals. I hope someone on this forum would like to buy it.
