Kenwood made such good mixers. I had one. I even had a peeling jacket/sieve with it to remove skins and seeds from apples. It made Apple Butter-making so much easier! It was a gorgeous machine. That is amazing for the price.

My Granny..........

bought an A700 model with all the then available attachments in the 1950's; the speed dial and other fittings being pale blue....I wish i'd had it as it was in fairly good condition.

About five years ago I bought an early 70's 701 (navy blue fittings) for £25: and its mint. Later I saw and won the same colour scheme 'Kenmix' liquidiser for £5 (i'm sure it had never been used?)

I also have early 60's chefettes. sunbeams and moulinexs.

Nice find Sheamus....I really do understand.

Regards, Walter.
