I finally got the last parts I needed for my Kenmore Professional 15 made by Sebo. Model 119.31015 790. I have a corner in my storage building where I keep hopeless and near-hopeless cases. That includes otherwise decent machines that need an expensive part or parts. Over a year ago, a Kenmore Professional 15 (as in 15 inch brush roll path) came my way. It was missing the dust compartment cover. That's a major part on this machine, with a price tag of over $90. And that doesn't include all the separate little pieces that attach to the cover, like the latch, spring, bag holder ($20 part by itself), etc. This machine also had a sheared drive sleeve in the main brush roll.
Then a few days ago, I snagged a derelict Professional 12 (Model 119.31012 790) that had a good dust compartment cover. The single brushroll on the 12 is the same as the main roll on the 15. I've now got the 15 well turned-out; when I get the Kenmore W series bags (or Sebo equivalent) I'll be finished with this one.
The 12 isn't all that bad a machine as to condition, but of course it's now missing the same parts I needed for the 15. The floor nozzle hood had a small hole punched in it on the 12 but the broken piece was still there and in fact more or less snapped back into place. A little epoxy would secure it permanently. So now the 12 will go back in the hopeless cases corner.
