Kenmore model 176 canister (Sebo?)

Never saw one before...very euro looking, a Sebo maybe?

It was made by Singer. I saw one of these recently but it was more a gray and orange color. Interesting looking machines.

Yup. It was made by Ryobi(Singer) for sears. I have the yellow version. I will try and dig it out for a pic.This was the near TOL with a cord winder. The next would have a PN. The good thing about these is they used a separate cooling fan so the motors didnt get to dirty. The bad thing the plastics were cheaply made. The bag slide out drawer had issues with the locking mechanism the clips that held the wands would break as well as the wands themselves.
To bad cause they did have decent suction but most people would get the Panasonic style for a few bucks more

I think Ryobi also made some Kenmore uprights in the 1990's. It's a Korean company, isn't it?

I know Ryobi made the Powerspray/Cleanmore canister shampooers and twin fan uprights in the early 1990s.

Just an update: Ryobi is a Japanese company. They stopped selling power tools in North America in 2000.
