Found it at an auction tonight. Practically mint condition! Extra bags, belt & original instruction manual. All for a whopping $2.50!

Brian....

I was reading your post while taking a drink of coffee....I nearly choked to death when I read what you paid for that! Awesome find! Great looking machine! Congratulations!

Steve, Sorry to make you choke!

It was a bargain! I couldn't not take it for that price & the condition. I had to rescue it & give it a good home. Thanks for the compliments. :)It was grungy from sitting for quite sometime, but it shines up great. Whoever owned it before took good care of it & even had the spare belt & instruction manual in a Ziploc bag taped to the lid.

Wow, what a great deal! Are the attachments and caddy with it? My parents had a very similar canister, but the attachments were under a separate lid on top of it instead of inside the bag compartment. It was an '82 or 83 model. I remember the belts came in the same green and blue packages as those bags there. It was a great vacuum and still worked when they got rid of it.
