I was wondering, out of the Kenmore Elite Crossover Ultra or Max models or the Shark Rotator or Navigator, which do you think is better.

From the Sharks I've used, it seems the Shark attachments are better. They have a full size dusting brush that's fairly soft. The Kenmores only have a combination crevice tool/slide on dusting brush.

Also the Kenmores have a small floor tool on the wand, but I noticed it doesn't have a brush and it's small. It seems to be mostly just for smaller areas. The Sharks have a bigger floor tool with microfiber cloths.

It seems like the Kenmore might have easier to clean filters though, plus the Max model has LED headlights and a plush carpet system. Neither Kenmore models have a brushroll indicator light as Shark does.

Also, this might be personal preference, but I see the Shark has a 3 position switch for off/suction only/suction and brush, where the Kenmore has an on/off button in the same spot, but the brushroll switch is a lever on the floor head.

I had thought about getting a Crossover (maybe my final Sears purchase?) if I saw a returned one marked down enough, but the last several trips I've made to Sears, I haven't seen any clearance machines. Maybe they don't sell store returns or displays anymore?
