Last Friday I went to the Salvation Army (first time going to a thrift store in months) and they had a mint green Kenmore Duopower upright. It was $9.99, but it was half off day. Didn't buy it because the plastic cover over the head was cracked (to be honest, it didn't feel like a very solid machine either). If it was in better condition I probably would have bought it because it did look very cool.
Has anyone had similar experience with finding vintage vacuums in poor condition, giving you reason not to buy it, but otherwise you would have loved to have had?
