Kenmore bullet 50 year old vacuum...

Hello,

First post here and I really like the site.

Saw this one today at sort of an estate sale. She said it works and has owned it since new. I just love the rocket look .

What are these vacuums worth in mint condition? Is the the young man who was featured on that " my Strange collection" tv show here on the forums?

As with any collectable value is based on many things, condition, originality, accessories, desirability and demand.
Your vacuum looks to be in good, but not perfect condition. For maximum price it would need to be in perfect condition.
The hose is not original, it looks like a replacement hose from the '80s or '90s. Again, for maximum price it would need the original hose.
Next, does it have all of the original attachments and the original attachment kit? It would need those to have higher value.
Vacuum cleaners have a VERY limited appeal, there are simply not that many people who collect them. That said, some of us will spend a pretty penny if we see something that reminds us of our childhood or we just want it. List it on eBay for best chances at making a good price. Don't expect to make a lot of money, but don't turn down serious offers either. Many people think that grandma's old Kirby is worth a fortune and list it for sale expecting to get $500 when they would be lucky to get $30. Those are the people who keep relisting it month after month for a year or more and never figure out why it's not selling. So, if you are looking to sell it, don't ask too much for it and you should be able to sell it fairly quickly. I hope I have not offended you or ticked off anyone here on the forum...and if I have, I am sorry.

I just thought it looked really cool. I have not bought it yet and saw one on eBay (not sold) for 99.00.

I might offer the lady $30.00 for it.

Saw a few pics of the canister converted to a Rocket man type costume...pretty neat.
