Does anyone know anything about this machine? Also, is it okay if I destroy it or is it a keeper? I will post a couple more images.

It's A Keeper

Mark, I could be wrong, but I think that one is a somewhat rare model. I don't think there's too many out there, and I have only seen one other one like it, posted here a while back. So I would at least wait until you find out for sure before you use it for a project.

Definitely...

Mark,
This is a prize! Absolutely a keeper. You can't carve this one up Mark.

Where did you get this??? A thrift store? An estate sale?

I have vivid memories of that vacuum in the Sears Roebuck in Scranton, PA in the 50's. When you walked in the front door of the downtown Sears it was right in the front display. And I remember it standing out because of the color.

Umbrella Stand

Actually, I was thinking of turning it into an umbrella stand. You see, if I cut...
Just kidding!!!!!!!!
I hear y'all. I worked until noon this morning and then decided to go to South Omaha, a section of Omaha with heavy hispanic population. Very bright, very festive, the smell of good food in the air -- and a number of busy thrift shops. The salmon Kenmore was there priced at ten dollars. I am presuming it was not overpriced. I have not plugged it in yet. Will keep you advised.

Oh Mark!!!

Don't you dare destroy it!! It is a rare vacuum that deserves to preserved! Pick an AirWay for your umbrella stand LOL! I'm so glad you posted before performing your magic!!!!
