So, orecks aren't the greatest vacuums, or the worst. But I've won one in a contest! It was called 'Vacuum Cleaner Clunkers' :send in a picture of your olod worn out vacuum and they will select two of the people to win a new oreck xl vacuum. I used a spare Electrolux olympia 1 for the picture. I covered it in duct tape and took the cordwinder and bagdoor off, etc.. Right now I am just really excited. I think we're picking it up this afternoon. Oh joy!

Wow, I am sooo jealous. I know alot of posters are not a fan of Oreck, but for a low pile carpet I find they do clean very well. I had a Hoover 61 that was falling apart which would've been the perfect candidate for the contest. Do you know yet which model Oreck you are getting? Do you get the compact canister along with it?

I LOVE Orecks!!!!

Oreck vacuum cleaners are awesome!! I have a 2400RS and a 2600HH in NH and I think that they clean great!!! Plus, with someone that has OCD, I CAN SEE THE CARPET LINES!!!! YAY!!!

I have the same oreck model in your first picture and I must agree that Orecks do clean well and I LOVE their carpet lines!

The Tradition dosn't look to bad. The Classic really dosn't either,except for the bag.

Its the newest classic model. It truly is beautiful. It came with the canister. I may post pictures soon but my sife is hectic right now so......bye!
