That sticker from Capital Vacuum Floor Care World!

Wow that’s amazing for me to see that sticker! I had a summer job in their old shop on Hillsborough Street back in 1985. The Dickersons were great people to work for. The shop was huge and it was like Vacuum Nirvana! Their warehouse was the old Embers nightclub in downtown Raleigh. So many machines in the place that I only once and never since. I think they must’ve kept every trade in since the place first opened.

Seems like a very well made vacuum.

Can't see the extent of the damage to the handle, but you could take your time and super glue the bits back together, then reinforce everything with epoxy glue. I've had good luck doing that lately, with gorilla gel super glue, and Loctite epoxy.

Also, I've found that epoxy glue won't stick to scotch tape, so I've made molds out of it and filled them with epoxy glue to make new bosses, and the like.

If you get that brown handle, you could try plastic dye in rattle cans, might be better than paint.

These are very nice machines to use. I have almost the same model, mine is MC-6220 vs 6225. I’ve never seen a jet flo before in that color, just the cream and brown colors. Is the switch in the handle multi position? It looks like it has more than on/off. I think the absulute TOL model had a electronic slider switch in the handle to vary the suction but it would be redundant to have the buttons and the slider. Anyways nice find and hopefully you can get the handle fixed.

The attachment set arrived yesterday! I try it out and it’s cool, the suction is amazing! This will be used for other Panasonic vacuums, Riccar, Simplicity, and hopefully one day a Amtrak Workhorse vacuum.
