Is there a diagram showing where in the Kirby caddy you are supposed to place each attachment. I looked through 2 newer Kirby manuals and there was not an image of where all the attachments are stored.

It is obvious to me where the wands and the crevice tool are stored, but where should each other attachment get stored?

Also if I remember right the hose coils up and then hangs on that little velcro strap on the front. If you don't hang your tool caddy on the wall I just hang my hose over the vacuum bag arm.

Kirby made a few changes to their caddy;
Cardboard box - Omega, Classic...
Door hanging organiser (Roo pouches) -
Hard case (blue) - Tradition
Caddy with set layout (dark grey) - Heritage
Caddy (light grey) - Heritage II / Legend
Caddy (grey) 2 more tools topside - G series
Caddy (greige) - Sentria II
Soft zip case (black) - Avalir
Caddy (black) - Avalir II

I presume Kirby moved away from specifying what went where, to make organization more user-friendly? Less regimented.
I settled for this configuration (see photos). It's narrower and tidier than that shown in their presentation, but I guess their demo is really trying to showcase and emphasize the wide range.
They never really considered space for floor polisher, hard-floor head, shampooer, instructions, spare bags... Even the long stair hose won't fit well.

The tools I have for my orange bag Heritage HD1 are in gray and orange cardboard boxes, identical to those of the Classic series. The tools are just charcoal gray instead of brown or red. The Tradition came with the same Classic era tools, in navy blue, and I've seen pictures of a blue plastic closable tool case for the Tradition's tools that was entirely different from the later one-piece, wall-mountable open caddy, which I believe came with the Legend II, and then all subsequent G-series and Sentria machines, but I'm not sure about the Heritage II and Heritage II Legend machines, whether they had accessories in a cardboard box or a plastic caddy, or whether that was a running change. The tools for the Legend II were also of the later G-series design, but that may also have been a running change from the earlier Classic design.

Yeah for me I stuck the small tools I used most on the wands and stuck those on the far left and right corners of the caddy, then I just kind of threw everything wherever it fit. lol

is it me

or is it odd that kirby uploaded a more lengthier clip of how to "properly" attach the multi-surface shampoo system. If you go to there youtube page and click on the video section its the most recent video uploaded. I'm curious to why they're now addressing this concern.

hmm maybe tired of the flood of complaints about people not knowing how to use it? Maybe some intern was bored and decided to put together a better video to improve the company's reputation? It does look daunting but once you memorize it it's easy.
