The wife and I reside in Colorado...she is a native to this state, but I can claim to be an accepted import, having moved here in 1984. Both of us are on the verge of retirement, and recently were informed that our rental house will be going on the market soon. Time to get busy, and try to sell off all large pieces of furniture. No luck finding anything close to our current capacities....large yard, and oversized 2 car garage. Time to downsize, and move on.
Hope all is well for all those who seek something to add to their own collections. Thank you, for the warm welcome!

Welcome aboard Paul! Sounds like we have some similarities, first being age group. You guys are on the brink of retirement, and I've been retired about 2 1/2 years now, and my wife & I have been married about 3 years longer than you have been in Colorado and have lived in the same house for all but 6 months of that time--rented for 10 years, then bought the house from our landlord. Did your landlord offer you the option to buy it before he puts it on the market? Might be your best option if you can do it. Would definitely save you having to downsize & move.
Don't know if I can help you shrink your collection or not, depends on what you want to rehome. With my collection currently at 122, I have about all the vacuums I want, but I do have a wish list of about 7 that I'm still looking for. I did see your post about your Hoover 28, but I already have one, with the attachments & instructions. Again, welcome to the group, and good luck with your downsizing and upcoming move.
Jeff
