I found an old Kenmore in a Barn and the I thought it was cool. The guy gave it to me. I had it laying around for a couple months so I made a House fan out of it to hang from my ceiling. It took much to fabricate this but now I call it the Inter Galactic Space Cruiser. The older than me crowd says it looks like Flash Gordon's ride. That is an old oscillating fan I found on eBay and disassembled and polished and rewired. The video's are awesome. Here is are some pic's. When hanging it also oscillates back and forth in time with the opposite direction of fan. When you wind the chain a couple times it spins then stops and spins the other way. If anyone has these old Kenmore's that are ready for the junk pile I will buy and think of more re-purposing. In the pictures the fan is spinning but camera locked in on the blade. It moves quite a bit of air. It is now complete has I polished the spear Today.

Could have made a cool Graf Zeppelin out of it. I can see it now--a Hindenburg replica with a '50s hot rod style flame paint job.

former Kenmore

This is one of the best and most skillful vac reuses I have seen!!I'm thinking more J Vernes 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.'
I had one friend with a welder that is slowly making a vac robot out of last years discards. There are many more to go this year including shapes and sizes that I feel would make a Starship Enterprise.I have the same Sears, other bullet shapes, round, round & tall, round & flat, old hand vacs, older hand vacs, old uprights, older uprights and more & MORE.I will have more time after April to sort and sell/scrap vintage vacs.If you might be traveling further east in TN please be in touch.
In addition to the Mustang do I see a Nova and a GTO (possibly Riviera)?Great cars!
