A couple of questions: Are the HP54 (201535809168) & RP57 (201535806555) machines the same color? One looks grayer than the other but it may just be the photos.

Also, which is the one with the heavier-duty motor? I have one (Model RP59) that is embossed "Extra Duty" -- it's dark gray in color. See first two photos below.

I've never seen the Super-8 Model ... it would be really tempting if it had the brushes and the belt (where on earth would one ever find them??) and the motor housing wasn't warped.

Clear closeup photos of just the motor units would be GREAT.......

Too bad none of them are as minty-mint as the one in the third and fourth photos below -- that was an eBay listing that the seller had a ridiculously high opening bid on, and it never got sold.

Johnson's Wax polishers

Each is different including colors. My EBay seller is working with a new camera that is NOT 'new & improved'.As a general rule ANY item shown will look better in person.I try to include much information in few words in the descriptions as to color & condition.2 are called shades of 'blue' & 'green'.I would not say gray on any of these. The yellow is faded as described but one is noted as less wear than expected.
Motor--The Super 8 has the bigger, heavier,DIFFERENT motor.I would think this might be first of this style. All other motors are smaller & lighter. As above only one uses a cut off switch when handle is raised.
Super 8--What I meant was it uses gears only and does NOT require a belt.Until I gathered these together for sale I thought they would use same brush. But the other brushes are maybe an inch to big.The hood may not be as bad as it sounds but I try to be accurate with condition of all areas. As we see with some Hoover Convertible hoods the earlier plastics did not always hold an exact shape.

(I tried to contact you privately but your listed email address is invalid and I couldn't find you in the VLand Messaging System.)

I would love to have gotten the J-Wax Super-8 and Convertible HP-59 floor polishers. But the shipping costs would have bumped this indulgence to around $160 and I just can't swing that.

If these are just going to the dumpster, I could try to get the money together for the shipping if you'd be willing to let them go for just that.

I don't know any other collectors who are as crazy about these J-W machines as I am and I'd sure love to have those two. I'd really love to have them all but I have to be realistic.....
