Today I bought a cute little simplicity I found at a second hand store still in box looked barely used I'm not sure why I bought it people know how much I dislike these China plastivacs. But this one attracted me some how and it has supprisingly good suction

update

Well got it home truer it out for awhile and heres my review of the lil Guy. The suction is very good for such a small machine as I mentioned. Idk if its just because its closer to the ground but its brought up salt none of my uprights were able to pull up. Its smaller and quieter than my royal prince. Even without the brush roll I think it might out wit it. With all the good I've seen so far its definitely got some flaws. Its filter Must be cleaned after each use lint and other dust sticks it up quite fast. In hose mode with attachments its almost useless although it doesn't much matter since they can be attached straight to the machine. This almost nib machine will most likely. Become a small rug or car vac and will unfortunately spend alot of time in the box where it can stay nice

Good, very good!

2nd update

I cant in good faith keep my previous review. this thing sucks and not the way you want it to ether I did the stairs with it today. and after one step it complete clogged a might as well have used a broom and emptying it everything was on the dust cloth. so it made quite a mess. this isn't quality. its a backwards blow dryer is what it is. I am going to stick with my royal prince and any other hand vac with a brush roll a bag and made in the united states or other origin of quality china is defiantly not the way to go.

That machine is

Designed to be a quick pick up vacuum not a replacement for a canister or dirt devil / Royal Prince hand vacuum .

It may be similar in size but it's dirt cup and filter size should have eluded the fact that it wasn't designed to do heavy tasks such as stairs or car interiors and the likes .

I have mine in a drawer in the kitchen and pull it out to pick up crumbs and such off the counter while cleaning up .

It's basically a dust buster type of vacuum with a cord and a ton more suction .

thanks cb123 and points

Feels good to be back and if just for little crumbs it will surfice but as far as anything else its useless altleast a dust buster has a decent dirt cup size and I bet the suction increase comes from it being so close to the motor. But as I've learned all to his own I will just stay on the otherside of the side with my fellow American made fans

Sounds like it's time to holster up with a SUPER FINE KIRBY! Vacuum cleaning never looked so good. This is the part where you're supposed to start getting chill bumps...Oooooo, I can feel them coming on, all tingly...it's electric!

Well, if you have a choice between a Kirby and a Black and Crapper, which will it be? Don't answer, I already know which one...And the wisest of choices I might say.

Yes you do know the answer. Hand Vacs ain't really my thing anyways I'm more of an upright man and after this "incident" witch I shall be punished for :-/ my royal will become the sole hand vac of the castle again :-)

I pardon you for your momentary laps in your better judgment. You've more than made up for it, very wise, very wise indeed!

They did, Douglas made the "Vacuette" during the Legend II run. Douglas also made this same model for Sears-Craftsman, and under there own name as the Douglas Redivac. They're LOUD, but perform OK.

I love my Dirt-Devil 103, there's nothing better than this thing! Rather it's light pick-ups with the hose or vacuuming a mattress, I have more than a few to take my pick from (Including the rarer Royal ProSeries in lovely deep blue!)....As much as I love KIRBY, I favor the 103 over their handheld Vacuette!

kirbys hand vac was known as the "split second" I about bought one I guess there is also one called a vacuette as alex said. although I thought that was the name of one of there first upights.
