I finally got the Hoover Windtunnel Air. And I must say, this is one of the BEST vacuums I have used. No joke. It pulls itself on my carpet, and the bristles are very thick and stiff! The suction is simply OUTSTANDING. And it is great on bare floors. With the on-board stair hose attached, it has a tremendous cleaning reach. For $188, this thing is bargain in my eyes! I strongly recommend it!

THAT IS COOL!!!!!

I have been passing that thing at my walmart for months now and I was going to get one anyway but now that you like it I really want one! Do you think that the mach air is better than say a dc24? because I have had one for a year and kinda hate it because it has a short hose, horable atatchements and awful carpet cleaning. and also how is the deep cleaning with this?

cool vac, sold in the uk as a vax

i always look at it when i venture into the walfart

congratz

It deep cleans very good. I just shampooed the carpets yesterday, and did a good vacuuming with my Dirt Devil Vision Turbo thing, which is a very good vacuum, and this thing still pulled up a lot!

I have noticed. I haven't used it in a long time, since I just havne't had the time to put a new belt on it. It is Dirt Devil Ultra Vision Turbo. I bought it new at Walmart for $99 when I was in 3rd grade. It really is a nice vacuum, but a little loud

This is made to compete with all of the mini Dysons. I am actually getting a DC25 in a few weeks, so it will be very fun to compare the two

Hoover, Vax

The Hoover actually has a few differences, compared to our Vax.

The Hoover has a decent agitator. The Vax has a slim 'turbine head' style of brushroll (very wimpy).

The Hoover has Windtunnel ducting and the hose is situated at the side of the agitator cavity. The Vax has no Windtunnel ducting, and the hose connects between the rear wheels of the cleaner, leading to the brushroll cavity via a 'Y' airpath.

Apart from those, the general design is very similar.
