They're certainly not common machines, that's for sure.

Looks like the Rinsenvac or XXX rental or Sears CleanMore machines here in the USA

They're not exactly rare in Scottish schools. A lot of them have them and only keep them for emergency floods. I have seen a few of the Escort ones as well as Hoover branded ones. Obviously they're rare for people outside of those who work in Education...
