I am really pleased with how it turned out. I couldn't have gotten so far without a lot of help with my friend, Chad. It works wonderfully. It may not be an actual factory done machine, but essentially it is exactly what a Cord Reel Convertible would be :) Glad you guys like it.

Very cool!  Great idea -- that color matches the original pretty well!  How did you run the cord from the winder into the handle/wire it up?

You have created a really nice looking machine there! I LOVE seeing things like this, taking something and rebuilding it into something else that may or may not have really existed! You certainly have something to be proud of there!

The two tone paint on CW looks better than originals.Next?Ever seen a three tone DeSoto or Packard??Might want to look,find another ugly and scratched vac and go back to paint store!!
