This is an early 1900s Feeny model G.....I have not seen very many of these cleaners around...are they rare?

Dustette...

This one looks very familiar. I think that there is one on display at the Hoover Historical Center in North Canton. I am not sure if it is the same name though. I would think that any non electric machine would be fairly rare especially one of this vintage. Where did you find it?

Feeney hand pump antique vacuum

Hand pump vacuums like the Feeney that you have often turn up in antique shops. Although I don't have a Feeney, I have several similar ones, including a Golden Rod that I got in 1975 in an antique shop in Madison, KS.

Most of these seem to sell for $40.00 to $65.00 or so.

The most knowledgable person I know of about primitive machines is Bob Kautzman in Alburtis, PA. He has a website of www.vachunter.com.

I believe Alex Taber, a co-founder of the VCCC, has a number of non-electric machines also and is quite knowledgable about them.
