Is this the correct cord for a Kirby 560?

I found my 560 at the local Goodwill outlet store a while back and it seemed completely original. The cord had an ugly generic replacement plug so I replaced it with a new black Kirby cord. Last week I found an incomplete 519 with a gray Kirby cord with red ends in excellent shape and bought it. I believe this is what came with my 560 If it is it's nice to have it completely original again.

This would indeed be the appropriate cord for your 560.

I second what HisMastersVoice said: that is indeed the correct color of cord for all models 516 to 561. It is very rare, and good luck on your 560 restoration!

On a related note, the model 562 Sanitronic's original cord was cream-colored with tan ends. For the Sanitronic VII and Dual Sanitronic 50, the cord was a solid tan (sometimes copper) color throughout.
