Is this the 80th Elite?

It looks like it but who knows. The picture isn't the best in the world. My first vacuum was just like that but in the blue.
It was an Elite 600. It is dated 1988 and I still have it. However it sounds like a baby pig's tale is caught in the brushroll. My berrings are shot.

it is not the 80th anniversary model

Its just a plain Elite 600

The 80th anniversary model has a lighter colored bag

Wow... it almost looks like a commercial vacuum as plain as it is. The bottom looks more like a Dimension than the classic Elite. Was there no hose port?

nope...

the first Elites used the front conversion attachments similar to the Concept One.

On board tools would come on the Legacy, which debuted in 1991.
