Had to remove the fan on my Eureka Bravo II in order to replace the bearing/scroll assembly behind it, and while it spins perfectly with the fan off, anytime I out the fan on and tighten it, while it isn't real hard to turn, there is a noticable resistance and it should definitely spin easier than that. I have taken it off and put it back thinking I gotten it too tight but as soon as I tighten it up to the point where the nut can't be loosened by hand, it goes back to being harder to turn.
Am I supposed to just get it slightly past hand tight? This is my first time having to put a fan back on so I can't figure out where I am going wrong. Thanks!
P.S: Brushes are not set to the commutator yet as I had to replace them too and the guide that came with them said to put the fan back on first.
