Is this normal for a vintage Kirby to do?

So I’m finally using the rug renovator one my vintage Kirbys like the Classic Omega, and I’m seeing a tiny bit of bubbles coming from the side and I’m a bit nervous. Is this normal? The vacuums off but on the photo there’s no lil suds.
