Is this a Kirby Fan or to what?

Isn't the Kirby in the picture above a model R? I see a cord coming out of the handle. I know this shouldn't make a difference regarding fans, but hey, nice vacuum!

Yes that is an R1 Kirby, the cord comes out of the handle and plugs in on the side underneath.
