Hey fellow vacuum landers I got a dyson dco7 all floors from work and it won't turn on and I think it maybe the cord or switch is it a easy fix if so let me know how I have had a dco7 before but my traded it for a sanitaire that I later gave to my step mom which she loves to death I also may be getting a dco7 animal from the vacuum shop I went to take a look at it and I ran it it sound fine but if you put your hand over the hose it the motor sound rough but I've been told it will go away with time is that ture ? Anyway any info / oppenins would be great thanks in advance

Could be alot of things.

It could be something very fixable like dust build up inside of the motor, or something alittle more serious like a motor bearing problem. Hopefully there's no problem at all! But has the motor bogged down at all when you used it?

Also...

By my opinion it's only worth the save if you are mechanically inclined, if you have the time and if you like the vacuum. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Dyson. it's your vacuum though. If you like it, have the time and if you or someone you know is mechanically inclined to fix vacuums, go for it.
