Introducing Myself

Greetings,

Just joined and thought I would introduce myself a bit. I love vacs. I love working on them, servicing , repairing, modifying, testing, and researching them. My passion for vacs developed at a young age, and my favorite models to date are the G5+ Kirby vacs and the higher-end Miele models. I’m also pretty fond of Sebo and Rainbow for various reasons, but my daily driver is a Miele C3. The Miele and Kirby are used most frequently, but I have several other vacs. Currently I am looking to acquire more equipment to test and compare the ones I have.

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you have a good start on your collection with some good variety. You shouldn't have any problem finding more, as vacuum cleaners are known to multiply like rabbits! And after you've been collecting for a while, you don't even have to look for they anymore--they find you!!

Yes they do seem to find me, old ones that I can’t get parts for. That’s the most frustrating thing. I wanted to restore a Hoover PowerMax like my grandmother had but I can’t find parts for those, along with some other vacs I had when I was a kid.
