I just got a big HOOVER box full of tools. Some are HOOVER (yay), then, there are loads of Interstate: metal, and turquoise, etc. Any info? Any interests?

Interstate was who made the Compact/revelation vacuums, and later, Tristar.

<span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: medium;">Not sure that's the case -- don't some of the Compacts have button-locks on the ends of the wands? If the attachment doesn't have the hole for the button to pop into, will the wand fit the attachment?</span>
The tool should still fit-but will not lock onto the wand or hose cuff.
A friend of mine told me
last week if he knew I collected vacuums, he had a Compact that was complete that his mom had in his garage for years and didn't know what to do with, He asked his sister about a year ago if she wanted it, and she said no. He asked her what he should do with it, and she told him to toss it, so he did. I thought all my friends knew I collected. Darn. I was just sick when he told me that. :-(
