If the bag and the motor are in the bottom, what is in the top section? It looks like the bag goes right up against the nozzle, how does the suction get to the hose?

Thanks Tyler! I'm not sure if I have the correct bags or not. I can't get them to fit. It's possible the adapter is wrong. I've turned them every which way and still no sucess.

I guess I'll continue to use the Electrolux bag since it works. Does the adapter look correct? I wouldn't put it past the original owner to include incorrect parts. But I can't complain I got it for free!

Kenny..

As soon as I dig mine out, I will try and see if I have bags (NOS)? and see if there are any adapters inside the machine. Sears has been very good for having funky adapters and bags... tisk tisk.

I would love to come and help find the bags. It would be an honor to help you out, and see your collection! Also, I have been wanting to meet you. I am not sure of the bag number, off the top of my head. They are very small and funky.
