Info on GE Upright? Date?

I picked this one up recently, a General Electric V13US. The one might be an I. Very little in the way of any problems or issues and comes with the accessory kit.

Does anyone have a feel for the manufacturing date for this one?

I'd guess 1965

That's a wonderful find, there's a thread in the archives which has similar models in a sales folder. That seems to have been dated 1967, according to the notation at the bottom. Here it is, U5 is the one close to your model. This is still great eye candy, even if not exact.

Those bottom pics are very close. 60s is probably correct.
