Immaculate New Old Stock GE Compact MV2 Hand Vac!

Friends! Someone please rescue this immaculate NIB General Electric compact vacuum cleaner! It comes complete with it's cardboard storage caddy and tool organizer. The seller says it's from the 1970's, but I distinctly remember this vac at the GE Progressland Pavilion designed by Walt Disney at the 1965 New York World's Fair! The famous "Carousel of Progress" had a finale scene with an American family celebrating Christmas in the contemporary 1960's. And among the GE products displayed as just-opened gifts on the living room floor was this compact GE hand vac.

This color scheme is

from 71 or 72...GE quit making vacs in 73, this machine WAS on the market in 65, but it was grey in color then...not a bad little machine.

Aha. Thanks for that info Craig. Indeed, I remember the 1965 version as being grey. Must have been MV1!!!!
