Thanks to Jill also!

P.S., my Eureka Express is a model 8295 top of the range with electronic power control on the handle. It's missing the cord rewind pink button, the power on one also. In addition, needs one rear wheel. Our kids lost the crevice tool, dusting brush when they borrowed it to refinish their floors. The upholstery tool needs a new brush thingy insert.
It runs for about 10 minutes, then shuts down until it cools off.
I remember when I bought it at service merchandise in 1989. I couldn't decide between it, or a Whirlpool canister they were also selling then, or a Lux they had. It had a wooden brush roll, so I passed on it.
The also carried the Hoover Dimension 1000. I think I paid $329.00 for it.
Must have been the colors. I had just finished redecorating my living room. Taupe 25 ounce plush carpeting, a Thomasville sectional in off white with woven stripes of teal, aubergine, and mauve. It looked good in there.

Jill, vintage appliances

How about a 1963 Kenmore model 70 washer in turquoise? A 1970 Tappan Gallery gas range with an electric warming shelf, self clean oven, waist high broiler, and burner with a brain? It had a built in vent fan also.
Ah! childhood memories!

We have no tomato festival, but with 2 cans of Cento San Marzano tomatoes, I can make some of the best sugo. My grandma who was born in Sicily taught me.
I still have 5th and 6th times removed cousins in Civitella Roveto, near Avezzano.

my grandmother's Hoover with brouchure and attachments

Is anyone interested in an OLD Hoover that is from the late 1920's, I think. It was my grandmother's and I still have the original box of attachments with the pamphlet.

Liz, can you post some pictures? It sounds excellent. Must go to an appreciative collector, or a museum.
Switched over to classical from Nite Moves mix techno music.

Thomas, "kirbycollector",

A bit off topic, but I think I drove through Hilliard once on the way to Medina.
There is a very cool shop there called Ormandy's model train museum and store.

Thomas, re; best foam for carpet shampooing:

Amway, or Blue Lustre. Maybe even Amway LOC diluted some?
I do know that Hoover spin scrub cleaners use solution that does not foam.
